A FLOOD OF INFORMATION ABOUT ANDREAS CLAUSSEN
Andreas Claussen (born 1988) is a contemporary artist who creates impactful oil paintings filled with humor, irony and gentle breeze of darkness.
In Claussen's "FLOOD" paintings, he constructs a post apocalyptic playground for a lonely astronaut who spends his days trying to survive on a submerged Earth while discovering the remains of our civilization. This ongoing series is a symbol for the multitude of challenges we all face and advocates for working hard (and smart), adaptation, innovation and finding humor in all the shit happening around us.
Andreas Claussen has exhibited his work in prominent galleries and major art fairs across Germany, the UK, and the USA. He lives and works in Germany.
